NORWICH, Vt. – King Arthur Flour, one of the country’s oldest flour companies, will launch keto, low-calorie and gluten-free baking products this year. Three new specialty flours will include Organic Rye Flour, Keto Wheat Flour Blend, and ‘00’ Pizza Flour. Additional products will consist of a Baking Sugar Alternative, and two new Gluten-Free Single Serve Dessert Cup flavors.
King Arthur’s non-GMO wheat flours are grown and milled in the United States.
The ‘00’ Pizza Flour is formulated to make Neapolitan-style pizza, and Organic Rye Flour is a medium rye flour. Also, a Keto Wheat Flour Blend with 4 grams of net carbs will be available. It can be substituted 1-to-1 for all-purpose flour, the company said.
King Arthur’s Baking Sugar Alternative is a calorie-free sugar replacement that can be substituted 1-to-1 for granular sugar and eliminates aftertaste and the minty-cooling sensations common with other sugar alternatives.
Additionally, two new flavors, Confetti Cake with Mini Frosting Chips and Chocolate Cake with Salted Caramel Chips, will be added to King Arthur’s easy-to-make Gluten-Free Single Serve Dessert Cup line that launched in 2019. The current flavors are Super Fudge Brownie and Chocolate Chip Cookie.
